Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Run the Run ("we," "us," "our") collects, how we use it, and your choices. Run the Run is currently operated by its founder as an individual, not yet a registered business entity.

1. Information We Collect

Waitlist signups: If you join our waitlist, we collect your email address.

Account information: If you create an organizer account, we collect your email address and a securely stored password.

Roster and player data: Organizers may enter information about their crew members — such as names, positions, heights, and skill ratings — to use the team-generation feature. This information is entered by the organizer, not collected directly from those individuals.

Payment information (future): When paid subscriptions launch, payments will be processed by a third-party processor (currently planned to be Stripe). We do not store your full card number ourselves.

Usage data: We may use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or Vercel Analytics) to understand how the site and app are used — for example, which pages are visited. This is aggregate, non-invasive usage data intended to help us improve the product.

3. How We Store Information

Account and roster data is stored using Supabase, a third-party database provider. We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers necessary to operate Run the Run — for example, our database provider (Supabase), hosting provider (Vercel), and, once live, our payment processor (Stripe).

5. Cookies and Tracking

We may use basic cookies or similar technologies for analytics purposes as described above. We do not use tracking for advertising purposes.

6. Data Retention

We retain account and roster data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

7. Your Choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. If you're a player whose information was entered by an organizer and you'd like it removed, you can also contact us directly.

8. Children's Privacy

Run the Run is intended for adult use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll note material changes on this page.
