Terms of Service

Welcome to Run the Run ("Run the Run," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website and application (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Run the Run is currently operated by its founder as an individual, not yet a registered business entity. This section will be updated if that changes.

1. What Run the Run Is

Run the Run is an admin tool for pickup basketball organizers. It helps organizers manage a crew roster and generate balanced teams. The Service is currently in early-access / pre-launch status, and some features described on our site may not yet be fully available.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Service. Run the Run is designed for adult recreational sports organizers and is not directed at or intended for use by minors.

3. Your Account

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Please notify us if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

4. Roster and Player Data

As an organizer, you may enter information about other individuals (your crew members) into the Service, such as names, positions, and skill ratings. By doing so, you confirm that you have a reasonable basis to share this information for the purpose of organizing your recreational sports activities, and that you'll remove information about someone if they ask you to.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to violate any law, harass or harm others, attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data, or interfere with the Service's normal operation.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Run the Run is intended to operate on a paid subscription basis for organizers, with payments processed by a third-party payment processor (currently planned to be Stripe). We do not store your full payment card details ourselves. Pricing, trial terms, and billing details will be presented clearly before you're charged.

7. Service "As Is"

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, especially during this early-access period. We make no guarantees regarding uptime, accuracy of team-balancing suggestions, or fitness for any particular purpose. Run the Run is a tool to assist organizers — it does not replace an organizer's own judgment.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Run the Run is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to the Service or These Terms

We may update these Terms or the Service itself from time to time. We'll make reasonable efforts to note material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
